Summer Camp Classified Instructor (Specialized Talent) for School Year 2023-2024

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Consideration will be given to any experience which provides knowledge, skill and ability in a skill area in which instruction is to be given.
  • Sixteen days during the month of June, M-TH June 3rd- June 27th. Pay is $18/hour with one hour of paid planning time for every four hours worked.
  • This is a seasonal/on-demand part time position based on program offerings;
  • Computer skills required for program planning and information.

REPORTS TO:  Tolleson ESD Summer Camp Coordinators

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Instructors develops, implements and guide recreation activities;
  2. Supervise children in sports programs, and/or recreation classes;
  3. Assist with special events;
  4. Supports recreation classes in activities such as arts and crafts, dance, drama, music, sports, and games,
  5. Prepare facilities and monitor activities.
  6. Work both independently and as part of a team.
  7. Communication with the teaching staff, parents and general public.
  8. Provides safety in a classroom setting
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.
