GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports District EL Coordinator by administering the AZELLA assessments districtwide.
MAJOR TASKS: * Administers the state language assessment to all students with a language need as evidenced by the PHLOTE form. * Attends required district meetings and AZELLA training for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions. * Complete documents related to the scoring and reporting of language proficiency test results for the purpose of providing accurate documentation in compliance with current regulations. * Works with individual students and/or groups of students for the purpose of using the district language proficiency assessments at all schools within the district (travel to all schools required).
* Complete other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: * High school graduate or equivalent. * Effective interpersonal and communication skills. * Associate's (or higher) degree or 2 years at a higher institution or pass state-approved paraprofessional assessment. * Bilingual in Spanish preferred Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
